Matt Manley is a 2023 RHP/2B, 3B, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Madison Academy. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with broad shoulders and some strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher with a leg lift to the belt and energy throughout the delivery. Shorter arm action with some arm speed. three-quarters arm slot with some finish over the front side. Lands closed with the strike foot and the fastball has good carry throughout the zone. Topped out at 91 mph and located well to the arm side. Lands curveball well with 11/5 shape and some depth to it. Short dive to the changeup and maintains arm speed. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the infield. Right-handed hitter with an open stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Leg lift trigger with an inside path to contact. Uphill path with a middle of the field approach. Great student.
