Tyler Wood is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit West. Features a tall, athletic, high waisted frame with room to add. On the mound he offers a two-pitch mix that include fastball and curveball. He has life to his fastball with natural sink. When his slider is good, it's really good with hard sweeping action. He has short, quick arm action with the ability run his fastball up to 91. In the outfield he fields to the side with a really fast arm with a ton of carry out of the hand. At the plate he has a wider base with simple heel lift trigger. He has a direct path with strength off the barrel. He has the ability to use the whole field and pound the gaps. He is an excellent student.
