Barrett Johnson is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson. Medium frame with some strength to the build but remaining room to fill out. Ran a 7.40 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, athletic actions and presents glove early, receives it smooth and does well on the move, changed slot when necessary and showed excellent arm strength clocked up to 87 mph on throws across. Secondary right-handed pitcher, arm talent translated, longer arm action and gets out front well, solid arm speed and maintains on the breaking ball, worked quick in the low-80s with the fastball and showed solid secondary offering with a depthy breaking ball. Right-handed hitter strong swing with good bat speed and barrel skills, swings it fairly easy and under control, can turn it over and hammered some liners to the middle. Named to 2021 National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
