Dominic Monaco is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Arrington, TN who attends Brentwood Academy. Extra large frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a higher leg lift. Sits into back leg well before working down the hill. Shorter arm swing in the back as he released from a higher slot. Fastball showing arm side run up to 84 mph with spin rates up to 2,295 rpm. Got ahead early in counts with it and showed good command. Slider in the low-70's with some sweep to it in the low-70's. Spin rates up to 2,282 rpm. Mixed it up well and missed barrels while doing so. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on it a bit as he gathered with two hands at times. Quick transfer and release from a higher slot. Carry on throws to the bag up to 86 mph. Left-Handed Hitter, balanced to start before working into load. Gets foot down later into the stride before working into a longer, linear cut. Looked to let it travel and drive it middle away. Good Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
