Showed quality action throughout catcher drills. Receives the ball well with soft hands. Strong catch and throw ability with 2.02 pop time. Quick transfer gains ground well. Short arm action produces strong, accurate throws. Utilizes an open stance with feet shoulder width apart. Simple, single step load gets weight on the backside. Will lunge forward at times. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Slight upper cut bat path has some loft within. Has some power that plays mostly pullside. Excellent student, as well.
