Luke Hill is a 2022 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Port Allen, LA who attends Episcopal. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.67 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to the ball and shows sound, repeatable footwork, fields it out front with two hands, clean actions to the backhand, quick transfer and release with solid arm strength across the diamond, remains balanced throughout, nice on line carry to first base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Loads hands back at start of swing, employs a line drive oriented approach and looks to work to all fields, shows strength and carry off of the barrel when extended out front and on time. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Tulane.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
