Joshua Torres is a 2023 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Aquinas. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger as he matures. A primary infielder, uses an open face to present the glove out front with a solid and balanced base. Good glove adjustments on hops and has feel to use his soft hands properly. A right-handed hitter, starts narrow and slightly open with his base and uses a big leg lift trigger. Aggressive positive move before breaking and turning hard with the core. The hands have quickness and he works them to an extended point and pulls the ball with authority. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
