Hudson Reed is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 196lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Morgan County. Big and strong athletic build. Primary third baseman on defense, has very good arm strength, ball comes out of his hand easy, shows good glove actions at the ball, athletic enough with his lower half to get into position to field and throw, very good all around defensive tools. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight hand load, keeps his hands short and inside through contact, has the strength to open up his swing and create additional bat speed and some separation. Didn't pitch at this event but has consistently been into the mid-80's on the mound this summer. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
