2021 PG Underclass All-American Games
CJ Richard is a 2023 OF/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Liberty Township, OH who attends Moeller. Medium athletic build with some compact strength and more to come. Very good runner, 6.50 in the sixty at the PG Junior National Showcase. Right handed hitter, hits from an open spread start, has a short hands driven swing, gets to his front side early and gets the barrel out, swings aggressively and showed some pop to the middle of the field, good barrel control. Aggressive to the ball in the outfield and uses his speed well, developing footwork and transitions into his throws, also plays some second base and would be interesting to see at that position. Very good student, verbal commitment to Ohio State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
