Ben Reiland is a 2024 2B/SS/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Villa Park, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Smaller young build with plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a high and deep hand load with a simple shift into contact, has quick hands and a short hands driven swing, very accurate barrel, consistently makes solid mid field line drive contact, stays within his approach well. Primary second baseman on defense, has a quick first step and nice range, stays balanced and moves easily, very advanced footwork throwing and around the bag, arm strength is his only defensive weakness. Very good student. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
