Rashad Hayes is a 2025 SS/2B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Oakland, CA who attends Bishop O Dowd. Long and lean young athletic build, really projects well physically. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, has soft hands and fields the ball cleanly, compact and clean arm action, has active feet and rounds the ball well, very clean transfers into throwing, very athletic on the move and especially charging the ball, has all the tools to develop into a high level defender. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand load, has quick hands that are short and direct to the ball, more a contact oriented swing now but projects power down the road as he fills out and learns to separate in his swing. High level athlete with tools on both sides of the ball. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
