Eli Pena is a 2022 MIF/RHP/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Davenport, FL who attends Sunshine Academy. Compact athletic build with an especially strong lower half. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Moves well in the middle infield with some quickness to his lower half actions, well balanced through the ball and can throw on the run, fields out front with soft hands, second base arm strength and overall profile. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple load and trigger to start his swing, long and loose swing, gets the barrel out front on time and showed he could impact the ball hard to the pull side. Has the strength to keep improving with work. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
