2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Tyrell Williams is a 2023 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-4 173 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Ocoee. Long and lean athletic build with tons of physical projection ahead of him. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, had athletic actions at shortstop and third base in the games, fields the ball cleanly with good hands and a good balanced base to field from, throws had very good carry across the diamond when his feet were set, made accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight leg stance, hits under control with a short and direct line drive swing, middle of the field approach, best when he's being aggressive and letting the barrel go, has loose and fast hands that project very well as he gets stronger. Also pitched, has a more compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill well on his pitches. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with a soft curveball, threw lots of strikes and had a quick inning. Good student. Named to the Preseason HS Showcase Top Prospect List.
