2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Lawson Knight is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Round Rock. Recorded a 6.65 second 60-yard dash. Medium frame with athleticism throughout and room to fill. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with clean actions through the ball, gets on line well with the body, full arm action with high effort, stays on top of throws with good strength and carry recorded up to 90 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open with high hands a high back elbow. Simple operation with a loose swing, leg lift trigger, looks to lift and drive through gaps. Some inconsistencies with the barrel, but will improve greatly with added strength. Good student. Named to 2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
