Nikko Taylor is a 2025 SS/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from El Sobrante, CA who attends De Anza. Slender young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 6.69 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has very smooth actions through the ball, active feet circling, gets his glove down early, always balanced, has some arm strength that is off-set by his quick release, long term middle infielder on defense. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, gets his foot down early on his close, opposite to mid field line drive stroke, gets extended through contact, has good barrel control and executes his plan well. Very good student, verbal commitment to California.
