Kenan Harvey is a 2023 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Williams Field. Long and athletic build that projects very well. Right handed hitter, sets up with a deep hand set and an open lower half, short swing for his size, got the barrel out front in games and made consistent hard line drive contact to the bull side, has lots more power there with adjustments to his swing to use his length and leverage. 7.71 runner in the sixty, speed could increase significantly with some running instruction. Primary outfielder on defense, gets his glove down early and fields the ball cleanly, still developing his footwork in his transitions and throws. Also pitched, simple leg lift delivery with an open stride out front and an over the top arm action, some energy at release. Gets good downhill angle on a low 80's fastball and works low in the strike zone. Slider showed nice tight spin and some two-plane shape, threw lots of strikes with his slider. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
