Tanner Brown is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach. Lean, athletic looking frame with huge physical upside remaining. Recorded a 7.46 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with slightly elongated actions into the fielding process, incorporates proper footwork and gathers cleanly off his front foot. Transitions well into release with maintained momentum to deliver accurate throws up to 84 mph during drills. Secondary left-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with good rhythm and tempo to it. Loose, easy operation with athletic movements down the slope, fastball worked in the 83-85 mph range for the majority of his outing, peaking at 87 mph from a loose, lower three-quarters arm slot. Proficient strike thrower with advanced feel for this repertoire, mixed in a sweeping slider with late bite and diving actions, and a replicated changeup with heavy fade as his go-to secondary offerings. Plenty of physical upside and velocity coming. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Simple, repeatable stroke with looseness to his hands and plenty of present bat speed. Line drive path with ability to impact the baseball when on-time and in-sync. Projectable, young prospect with huge upside on the mound and offensive prowess. Verbal commitment to TCU.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
