2023 Jr. National Showcase
Evan Damario is a 2025 C/RHP/IF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Rockhurst. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with good lower half shift into contact, has a smooth well timed swing, good strength in his hands and creates present bat speed, repeats his timing and swing mechanics well for consistent hard line drive contact, can drive the gaps with carry and turned on a ball hard for a game home run, has solid hitting tools moving forward, especially for a young catcher. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Has good athleticism behind the plate with lower half flexibility, comes out of his crouch well, quick transfers into an over the top arm slot that creates good carry through the bag, plenty of raw arm strength. Promising young catcher with nice athleticism for the position. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
