Evan Macintyre is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Charlotte Catholic. Compact athletic build with good present strength. 6.68 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has bounce and body life in his his actions, shorter footwork into the ball and his throws, has very good arm strength, center field tools and characteristics. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load, rotational upper body swing, can get into his strong lower half more, line drive swing that matches plane well, consistent hard line drive contact, has tools to develop as a hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to Indiana.
