Riley Williams is a 2024 OF/RHP, UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends D H Conley. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athleticism to actions moving towards the ball, clean actions fielding the ball and works through it, has present arm strength and showed it in game with a strike to third base from right field. Also pitched, quick arm through the backside and pounded the strike zone; fastball jumps out of hand and able to miss bats, topped out at 88 mph and showed comfort landing curveball for strikes consistently up to 72 mph with depth. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; balanced set up in the plate with looseness to hands. Consistent feel for the barrel and gets it extended out front, comfort working to the middle and pull side parts of the field with a linear plane, natural feel for the barrel. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to East Carolina.
