Quinton Coats is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe South. Ran a 7.07 60 yard dash. Solid run tool and shows solid athleticism in his game. Good two-way potential. On the mound, throws from a high three quarters arm slot. His fastball was up to 77 and threw two different breaking balls for strikes. He works north and south well and is a good competitor. He shows good reactions in the infield and funnels well. Good range in the infield and has soft hands. At the plate, has a nice whole field approach and swings with good intent. His swing has good barrel control and his highest exit velocity was 86 MPH. Excellent student in the classroom.
