2023 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Trace Harrington is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Republic, MO, who attends Republic. A bigger frame with some physicality to it. Strength present. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. A primary first baseman who has some strength behind the throws. He had good feeds to second with firm throws at 85 mph. He moved well around the bag with clean actions and efficient routes to the ball. He also worked out as an outfielder gaining momentum and working through it with a fluid operation. Had a shorter and quicker arm action with good flight on the throws. He fields it off the front foot working into that quicker arm path. As a right-handed hitter, he starts with high hands and a high back elbow. He has slightly closed feet to start and uses a slight hanging leg lift trigger. When it's in sync he's able to show off some pat speed and impact it with strength. Aggressive swing with some quick hands. Had the ability to lift occasionally throughout his round of BP. Produced a 93 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Excellent student. Named to 2023 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday) TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
