Grady Emerson is a 2026 SS/2B with a 6-1 173 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Good athlete, posted a 6.61 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, light footwork on the approach working to and through the ball, soft hands and picks the backhand cleanly, repeats actions and very game like with a strong arm and plenty of carry across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Loose and balanced stroke, creates leverage through the zone and shows plenty of loft to pull side. Bat speed and strength stand out, hands work well in swing and repeats; went backside gap in live action for a hard double into left-center field. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to TCU.
