Zach Wadas is a 2023 1B/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Hamilton HS. Extra large frame with solid present strength and room for substantial physical upside. Primary first baseman with an over the top slot and two hands out in front. Compact arm action with throws across up to 84 mph. Secondary outfielder with deliberate actions and shorter steps. Intent behind the release with throws up to 89 mph. Left-handed hitter with a spread open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Plus bat speed with immense pull side power. Big leverage out in front and has immense impact force. Home run in game against a left-handed hitter and the power upside is prodigious. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to TCU.
