Matt Luigs is a 2025 3B/2B/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Holy Innocents Episcopal. Medium frame with an athletic build and projects well physically. Ran a 6.77 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, ranges well around the dirt and profiles well on the left side, corner footwork and works well into his release, strong arm up to 86 across, solid round and plays well there. Right-handed hitter, very wide base and limited shift in, shows strong hands and plenty of quickness, goes the other way with strength just limited use of the lower half in BP; really showed well in game action, couple loud barrels including a double off the wall to the pull side, really adjusts well to get on plane. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
