Pablo Torres is a 2022 RHP/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from St Cloud, FL who attends Harmony. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.58 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, works solely from the stretch with low effort, stays controlled through releasing from a short and quick arm action. Hides the ball well in the back and allows the fastball to play up while working to both halves of the plate with good command. Showed able to drop in a bigger curveball while mixing in a harder-biting swing-and-miss slider. Also worked out in the infield, plays back on the ball a bit but shows athleticism and arm strength that allows him to play the position well. Righthanded hitter, hands work well as he stays short to the ball and uses the combination of bat speed and strength to drive the ball on a line. Performed well offensively in game as well. Named to 2021 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
