2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed)
Nick Griffith is a 2025 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Paul Laurence Dunbar. Medium current frame with nice athletic overall actions and mobility. Symmetrical build with wiry strength and plenty of time to add. Solid runner, 60 yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Primary position IF, showing solid, fundamental actions and showed some first step quickness. Works his angles to the ball, feels a bit for the ball on the backhand and firm overall glove work. Handled the slow roller the way it should be done. Clean arm path with advanced arm strength with throws up to 85 mph across the diamond. LHH working from a balanced start and using small leg lift trigger. Really looks good in the box with ideal handset allowing him to release barrel out front. Stayed on time, lots of hard line drives with power projection and a justifiable pull oriented approach. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
