AJ Putty is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from McHenry, IL who attends Huntley. Big and strong physical build, especially for his age. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big leg lift trigger and a deep hand load, has a smooth and fluid swing with nice separation, hits through the ball with a line drive gap to gap approach, has bat speed and some jump off the barrel, projects well as a hitter. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Corner infielder on defense, long lower arm slot throwing with developing carry, can continue to work on his lower half quickness and agility. Also pitched, has a simple and repeatable delivery, high front side down the mound to the plate and gets into his back hip well. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, tends to slow his arm on his soft curveball and straight change up. Bat is his tool. Good student. Named to the Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
