Evan Taylor is a 2025 RHP/C, 1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Ocean City, NJ who attends Ocean City. Thin frame with loose athleticism and room to fill out. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Upside on the mound, quick arm, belt high leg lift, low 3/4 arm slot and lands online. Fills the zone with the fastball, has arm side run, was up to 87. Advanced feel for spinning the slider, sweeping biting action to it, uses it any count, located very well. A lot to like on the mound. Some range in the infield, ok hands, longer arm action with strong throws across. Arm strength is a standout tool. Balanced slightly open right handed stance at the plate, hand speed, quick to and through contact, impressive in game, three extra-base hits, gap to gap ability. Promising 2-way player. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
