Mikiah Negrete is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends Servite. Recorded a 7.30 second sixty yard dash time. Large and physical frame with present strength. Primary left-handed pitcher with a balanced operation and a quick arm. Short arm circle with good tempo and presence on the mound, creates a downhill angle and works down in the zone. Flashed a changeup with run, has a deceptive delivery and hides the ball well. Secondary first baseman with a strong arm and quick movements, moves well with athletic actions. Left-handed hitter with natural loft to the path, showed a ton of pull side power in the games and during BP. Nice shift in, generates plenty of bat speed and finds barrel often. Impacted it very well all weekend and produced a bunch of loud contact, definite two-way potential at the next level. Excellent student. San Diego commit.
