Jeremy Sosa is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends All Hallows. Sosa has plenty of evident athleticism and strength in the build that reveals itself on both sides of the field. Starting on the defensive end at his primary OF spot, he showcased smooth glove work and natural actions throughout, flashing effortless life in the arm up to 86 mph. He covered ground effectively, staying in line with the mechanics to produce consistent throws on the bag. On the mound, Sosa used a high 3/4 slot to produce weak contact and swing and miss with slight cutting action on the FB. He mixed a two-plane breaker with late bite as his go to off speed offering. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with evident bat speed to generate impact to the middle of the field. He shifted the weight effectively and flashed loud impact when on time, posting an exit velo of 90 mph. Ran a 7.15 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
