Matthew Diskin is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Mountainside, NJ who attends Governor Livingston. Large, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran an 8.44 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a hands-over-head delivery at times, leg lift up past belt with a shorter stride down the mound; gets to an over-the-top release point. Generates some downhill plane to the fastball, topped out at 80 mph early on, can incorporate additional lower half into drive down the mound. Worked around the zone and mixed three pitches for strikes; curveball shows depth to it up to 67 mph, tripled up on it at one point and uses it as a put away pitch. Moves well around off the first base bag with footwork, shows arm strength and carry on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall and narrow stance and utilizes a small stride moving into contact. Keeps hands inside the ball, swings with intent, occasionally gets downward with path but shows backspin when squared and out front.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
