Matt Conte is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Andover, MA who attends Dexter Southfield HS. Recorded a 6.96 second 60-yard dash time. Super physical frame with lots of strength at present. Primary catcher with an aggressive move to gain ground and very good arm strength. Comes out of the hand really well with good carry and popped a best recorded time of 1.88 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and big rock back with a hand pump into the load. Explosive bat speed with big strength at the point of contact. Pull side power plays now with the potential for true all fields power. Great student. Verbal commitment to Wake Forest.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
