Devin Parks is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, simple swing that is short to the ball with quick hands, middle-pull approach, creates good lift, performed well in game, quality power projection as well. Worked out in the outfield, shows athleticism moving to and through the ball, fields cleanly and maintains momentum, whippy arm with real strength, clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Also pitched and performed well, balanced throughout with good lower half drive, quick arm to high slot, fastball worked 82-83 mph and pounded the zone with it, flipped in a slow curveball with good depth and late bite. Good student, named to 2021 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
