Gus Gandy is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from St Simons Island, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.45 runner in the sixty, really quick first step that plays up on defense and on the bases. Primary middle infielder, has range and quickness in all directions going to the ball, active feet, easy gliding actions , balanced at all times, arm may play best at second base at the next level but chance to be an elite defender there. Right handed hitter, has good rhythm in his load, has quick hands and is very short to the ball, high contact swing with contact to all fields, bat projects well as he gets stronger. Quick twitch athlete with lots of baseball skills. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
