Drew Culbertson is a 2023 SS/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Greenwood, IN who attends Center Grove. Features a lean, athletic build with projectability remaining. Very good runner. Ran a 6.48 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showcased a quick first step into fundamentally sound footwork. Covers ground well in both directions. Gets around the ball consistently with good direction into throws. Soft hands caught the ball cleanly and worked through tough hops. Displayed a quick transfer into strong, accurate throws. Threw 90 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Stays athletic in the box. Utilizes a slightly open stance into a leg lift timing mechanism. Looks to do damage but still maintains balance and stability throughout swing. Uses the lower half efficiently with the ability to fire the backside. Displays above-average bat speed with advanced feel for the barrel. More power should come down the line as the frame continues to add strength. Very good student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List. Verbal commit to Missouri.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
