Joseph Majewicz is a 2019 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Yorktown, VA who attends Grafton HS. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a simple side step into a medium leg lift delivery. Slight coil over the back leg at the gather point and works with a drop and drive lower half mechanic. Loose arm circle and threw from a higher three-quarter arm slot. Lands online with direction toward the plate and gets over the front side well. Attacked with fastball and located low in the zone well. Flashed a straight changeup and maintained arm speed. Flashed curveball with slurvy shape. Secondary outfielder with smooth fielding actions and a quick release. Good carry on throws with a clean arm and accurate throws. Righthanded hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. High hand set and a high back elbow with a simple leg lift trigger into contact. Level swing plane with an inside hand path. Good feel for the barrel when working to the opposite field. Good student.
