Louis Bussard is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Slender young body with plenty of physical projection remaining. Long and loose arm action leading to a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, works from a tall delivery with an even tempo throughout. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph early, mostly straight with occasional downhill angle when he's down in the zone. Change up was his best secondary pitch, gets good sink on the pitch, throws it with conviction and got some swing/miss with it. Slow curveball with some 12/6 downer shape still developing consistency. 7.91 runner, showed good athleticism in the outfield and moved well through the ball. Left handed hitter, has nice hands hitting and some feel for the barrel, was on time and squared the ball up, especially to the opposite field, has some ability with the bat that should develop as he gets stronger. Good student.
