Boston Forbes is a 2023 C/RHP, IF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Kell. Extra Large frame with an already filling out build showing broad shoulders and a strong lower half. Ran a 8.02 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting high in his stance during drills with a side saddle. Catch and release skills present as he gains ground. Arm strength present as he recorded a pop time of 1.95 seconds. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. High hands set as he lifts before working down the hill. Stays direct to dish as he released from a three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 79 mph and mixed in a breaking ball with 11-to-5 movements. Filled up the zone as he went right after guys. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start before working into a low leg lift to stride. Creates separation before firing the hands and showing off the bat speed. Drove it on a line to the middle of the field and proved he could find the barrel. Projects some power down the road. Outstanding Student.
