Pablo Santos is a 2022 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Jersey City, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows balance to actions moving to the ball and fields out front with softness to hands, works through the backhand well, sound transfer into a shorter arm action, shows nice arm strength and carry across the diamond, controlled on charge. Also pitched, works quickly on the mound with a high leg lift up past belt; incorporates lower half well into drive and shows nice arm speed through the back working to a lower three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, ball comes out of hand cleanly and shows life to arm side, mixed a 10-4 shaped breaking ball up to 75 mph with late bite to it. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box with a slightly open stance; does a nice job of shifting weight moving into contact. Creates present bat speed with lift to path and separation out front, looks to lift at point of contact with extension. Able to impact the ball consistently to his pull side gap, nice offensive tools and two-way potential moving forward. Named to the 14u National Showcase Top Prospect List.
