Crews Taylor is a 2017 SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Archer. Large frame, lean build with room to fill. Hits from a narrow setup in the batter's box, short hand load, compact swing plane, extends through contact and incorporates lower half well, good hitting tools to project. Smooth stroke with loose swing actions, solid present bat speed with projected development from strength gains via natural physical maturation. Active defender, accurate infield throws, hands work well. Good student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
