Ladarius Woods is a 2017 2B/3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Decatur, AL who attends Decatur. Woods has a lean build with room to fill out. Hits from a slightly open upright stance. Short and quick swing plane with solid bat speed. Gets lift at contact and shows good power potential. When ball is centered and everything is on time ball really jumped off barrel. Defensively, from the infield, has short quick steps to the ball working through it well. Has good arm strength and carry across diamond while showing athletic actions on the move. Good student.
