Cade Sorrell is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Highland Village, TX who attends Marcus. Ran a 6.72 60 yard dash. Solid run tool and has great athleticism on the mound. Has a bit of a funky delivery that has good deception to it. Quick arm speed and throws from a lower 3/4 arm slot. Impressive command and slings it a bit. Up-tempo delivery. His fastball has a lot of rise and running life to it. The pitch was up to 84 MPH. He shows a downer slider that has bite and late downward movement. Solid arm strength in the outfield and was clocked at 85 MPH out there. Throws stay low and online. At the plate, has a lofty swing to generate power. Natural barrel loft and is more power over hit tool presently. His highest exit velocity was 90 MPH. Solid two-way potential here.
