Nathan Collins is a 2017 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Alvin, TX who attends Alvin Reach. Large frame with a strong, athletic build. Ran a 6.81 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Flashed extended range to glove side. Clean, fundamental glove actions while funneling out from and generated good momentum to the bag. Flashed the ability to manipulate arm slot while on the run producing accurate throws across the infield, topped at 84 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Creates slight coil with top half at load. Lower half shifts into contact with linear actions.
