2022 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Colin Richter is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ledgewood, NJ who attends Roxbury. Well-built symmetrical overall build with time to keep adding size and strength. Primary position OF, working through the ball methodically and showing nice consistent glove work. Uses his feet well and creates solid angles and moves through the ball well. Transitions to his throws quickly and gets into a full deep arm swing that produces velocity as high as 83 mph. Present accuracy and his defense is a factor, especially for a young player. LHH working from a wide base and a high back elbow to start. Uses a significant bat tilt to load hands and lets hand drop a bit to get on plane with the pitch. Worked primarily to the pull side with a flat swing plane that produced nice line drives when letting the ball travel. Did get out front from time to time causing some roll over but there is strength and when on time it was loud contact. High level student and more to come in his overall game.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
