Nate Stern is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Loyola. Tall well proportioned athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a sound delivery with good lower half torque, works downhill from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with nice arm side running life, curveball had good power to it with late biting action. Also worked in a fading change up. Works fast and has an idea in the strike zone with all his pitches. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Secondary infielder on defense, moves well for his size, still developing his glove actions at the ball, plenty of arm strength when on top and can lower his arm slot well. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow bent knee stance with a short and compact downhill path into contact, has the strength to hit for some power with some adjustments. Impressive young arm with plenty of potential to keep improving. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
