Jeremy Martinez is a 2024 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.30 second 60-yard dash time. Taller frame with some strength present and room to fill out. Primary catcher with a whippy release and gains ground well. Deliberate actions and ball comes out of the hand well. Generates carry on throws with a best recorded pop time of 2.03 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an inverted front knee. Uphill swing plane and has a positive launch angle. Big jump off the barrel with a power centric approach. Had a line drive single in game action and power will continue to be the carrying tool. Tremendous student. Named to the Sunshine East TP List.
