Daniel Horowitz is a 2023 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from East Rockaway, NY who attends St. Francis Preparatory. Horowitz works exclusively from the stretch on the bump out of a lower 3/4 slot that held velocity well throughout the appearance. The intimidating righty commanded both sides of the plate with arm side run present on the FB as well as a breaker with late bite to pair. Horowitz also worked from the infield, showcasing sound footwork with clean hands. Offensively, he peppered the pull side of the field starting from a slightly open stance with projectable strength in the frame. Ran a 8.14 sixty yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
