Owen Piazza is a 2023 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sycamore, IL who attends Sycamore. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, solid arm speed to 3/4 slot release, fastball worked 77-82 mph with life and some deception from crossfire, showed curveball with depth and spin. Hits from even-based stance, leg lift trigger, gets on plane well, extends through contact well, showed power pull-side. Worked out in the infield, showing range laterally, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across. Very good student.
