Ryan Quinlan is a 2023 MIF/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Huntley, IL who attends Huntley. Recorded a 7.04 second sixty yard dash time. Sturdy and athletic frame with good projection, has definite strength present. Primary middle infielder, plays low to the ground and shows smooth actions with some twitch present. Hands work well and has some feel for the glove, shows softness on the backhand as well. Clean transfer with a quick release, will continue to improve moving forward. Left-handed hitter with an even and spread stance, utilizes a knee to knee load and abbreviated leg lift trigger. High back elbow set, loads it deep and up. Good bat speed and rotational acceleration, smooth and low effort swing overall. Flatter bat path, is short to the ball and shows good impact when on time and squared. Good athlete overall, swing projects moving forward. Great student. Named to the 2022 Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
